The Holy Spirit’s Work
Dear Friends,
The work of the Holy Spirit in the world today is being accomplished in the lives of believers in Jesus Christ. God has revealed Himself as one triune God, but in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is a mystery that is revealed in the Bible. In John 16:15, Jesus says, “All that belongs to the father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.†We receive the truth of God’s word by the working of the Holy Spirit. When believers allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through them, and not embrace our own agendas, we become God’s light houses of love to a world that has gone astray. Let Jesus work and shine in your life this week through the power of the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to forgive you of your sin, and ask Jesus to come into your life. Turn from your sin and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
