The Peace of Christ
I have had the privilege of praying for people recently that have life-threatening illnesses.  It is amazing to me to see the presence of God when we pray and call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men which we must be saved.† This verse means that we are spiritually healed or saved in the name of Jesus Christ.  We are placed in a good place by God when we are sick and call on His name.  We may not always be healed, but we always receive a blessing from God when we call on His name.  I have seen that blessing come in the way of the peace that comes into the room when I am praying with a sick person.  The blessing comes with a new found hope in God in the middle of a bad diagnosis.  God takes the bad circumstances of life and reveals Himself to those that earnestly seek Him.  He comes with His love and blessing.  Call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in every situation.
