Hope
How do we handle the subject of death particularly regarding a loved one or friend? It’s not easy to say good bye to someone you love. I found out this week that a close friend passed away. For those of us who are believers in Jesus Christ, we do have hope after death. We deal with death differently than someone that has no faith. We don’t just think about the life lived by our loved one, but we think about that great reunion we will have in the sky. The Bible says the following in 1Thessalonians 5:16: “For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.†This is an amazing passage of Scripture. We will rise again after we die to meet the Lord Jesus Christ. This is good news. Life is not just about what happens on earth, but is about what happens after we die. We do know that how we live on earth and our relationship with Jesus Christ, will determine where and how we live in eternity. I would love to dialogue more with you on this subject, send me an email or give me a call.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
