True Worship
What does it mean when you give worship to God? The definition of worship is to give reverent honor or homage to God. The idea of worshipping God brings with it the fact of giving high respect to Him. We worship God in a variety of ways. Most of us think of worship as something we do when we go to Church. Worship is not relegated to the church house, but worship is something we should do all the time. If you don’t have a faith tradition, the concept of worship may sound foreign to you. But I would suggest that worship plays a big role in our culture today. Some people worship Donald Trump. Some people worship Bernie Sanders. Some people worship their car, their house, their clothes, their kids or their parents. Some people worship Lebron James; others worship big celebrities. But when we worship God, what follows is a change in character for the better that doesn’t happen when we worship other people or things.
