Words of Life for this week are:“New Life in Christâ€
When a person becomes a Christian something amazing happens. Each day after, becomes a new day for the Christian. Something new and different happens in the heart of this individual that has confessed Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. I will give you an example of what I mean. When I asked Jesus to come into my life at age 12 and I gave Him my heart, I had a serious anger problem. I was mad about this and mad about that. But when I said yes to Jesus something new and different started to happen each day after. I had a peace in my heart where the anger started to subside. As I started to read the Bible on a daily basis and started to really pay attention at church to what the preacher was saying, changes started to happen in my life. I didn’t fight as much anymore. I didn’t yell when things didn’t go my way. Most of all, I started to listen to my parents and my teachers at church who were guiding me and holding me accountable to deal with my anger. I want to invite you to try it, if you have never asked Jesus into your life or you know someone that needsNew Life in Christ, ask a believer in Jesus to lead you in this process. You will be amazed at the changes that will occur in your life and you will be blessed as I was and still am until this very day.
