Words of Life: “A Hope that’s Alive”  Feb 1st 2017

Words of Life for this week are:“A Hope that’s Alive”
In times like these, we are facing situations that require us to dig deep in our faith and ask God for his help. These difficult times requires us to be tested in our Faith. We are just at the beginning of a new year and several people that I know are distressed and need answers. I have been asking the Lord for guidance and he led me and my wife Trish, to a wonderful scripture in 1 Peter 1:3that says, “ Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”. Notice it says a living hope. The definition of biblical hope is to have confident expectation of good. In these hard times, we can place our trust in Jesus and that trust is based on his resurrection. Since he arose from the dead, we can rise up out of our bad times and believe that he will take us through. He will be there for us as you we call on his name. You have a hope that is alive in Christ. Believe it and receive your break through.

God bless you,
