Words of Life for this week are:“Made in Heavenâ€
When we look at a product to buy in the store, we often look at the label to see where it was made. Many products say, “made in China” and we like to see “made in the USA”, as we celebrate the American worker. But when we look at the human body, there is an imaginary label that is on each of us and it says, “made in Heavenâ€. God is the creator of the universe and he made each and every one of us. Since he is the creator and owner, it would do us well to know him better and see what his agenda for our lives is. He tells us in Ephesians 1:4, that he chose us to be holy and blameless. What this means is that he had a plan for us to walk in purity and become like him. God has a plan for each of us that takes into account our short comings and declares that we are to be holy. This became a liberating concept for me as a young man and even until this very day. I am made in my heavenly Father’s image and he wants me to be like him. This gives me purpose and direction to do the right thing instead of doing my own thing that leads to misery. Remember you were made in Heaven.
God bless you,
