Words of Life for this week are:“The Power of Threeâ€
In the Bible in Ecclesiastes 4:12 it says, “a cord of three strands is not quickly broken.†When three people stand together and care for one another there is strength and endurance. In life we often want to do things alone, by ourselves, without help from others. But the Bible gives good advice for the loners of the world. It teaches us that we need one another. We actually do better together than alone. I can remember a decision I made a long time ago to buy a car without the advice and agreement of my wife, Trish. It was the worst decision I ever made. That car gave us more headaches and problems than any other vehicle I owned before. It was a hard lesson learned that I should always get input from her before making any important decisions. It also is true that when I get the council of two other people when making a decision, I am increasing the chances of a better outcome. Being a lone ranger only brings huge problems in my life. I’d rather walk in the power of three and be blessed.
God bless you,
