Do Right
Every day, we have the choice of doing what’s right or doing what’s wrong. As believers in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit will lead us in making choices that honor God. The key to being guided by the Holy Spirit is to acknowledge his presence daily. We need to take time to be with him by reading the Word of God and mentioning the name of Jesus. As we pray consistently and remember his words, we become stronger and will have the power to say no to the devil when he tempts us. We will have the power to resist the urges of our flesh when we admit to God that we are weak and need his help throughout the day. Doing the right thing then becomes exciting for us because we enjoy his presence and want to do what pleases him.
