Words of Life
Called to Serve
Psalm 103:17&18 declares: “But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children-with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.”
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are called to serve God, to do his will. It is interesting how life presents different options and opportunities for us to pursue. One of the tricks of the devil is to lead us down a path that has us doing everything except the will of God. The thing that is so amazing is that doing the will of God is so fulfilling and wonderful. When we serve God and do his priorities for living, we will lead a life that is blessed and is a blessing to other people. There is real joy and happiness in serving God. Think of the times in your life when you made bad choices and how you felt. Now think of the times that you are serving God and what good things come your way. Serving God may mean you experience tough times, but the big difference, is that God is with you and that he takes you through the tough time. Keep serving God by obeying his word and live a fulfilled life.
God bless you, Pastor David
