Trusting in God
One of my favorite scripture passages is Proverbs 3:5 which says to, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and He will direct your paths.†We as individuals tend to do things our way. We have ideas and inclinations that sometimes lead us to make bad decisions. If we trust in God and allow him to guide us, we can instead make wise choices that will bring about better outcomes in all the decisions we make. One of the key ways to trust in God, is by listening to and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us. Each morning I ask God to fill me with his Holy Spirit and lead me in my decisions. Each day I am filled with his goodness, and that enables me to make correct choices. As the body of Christ, let’s continue to trust in God, and as a result, have a truly blessed and wonderful day.
